The wait is almost over.
On this 14th of July, as France celebrates its National Day, we are proud to reveal the official trailer of the Rafale C for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Fast-paced, intense, and feature-packed, this trailer showcases the aircraft in action across a wide range of situations, from low-level flight and advanced avionics to mission-oriented systems and combat scenarios.
The Rafale is our most ambitious project to date, with many features developed specifically for this aircraft and never seen before at this level in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Some of the key innovations include:
- A highly detailed and optimized 3D model built for MSFS 2024, taking full advantage of the modular aircraft architecture, with more than 60 attachments.
- 36 liveries, including a selection of operational and special schemes, with 15 included in the base package and additional livery packs available separately.
- A fully custom fly-by-wire (FBW) system, developed in WASM to reproduce the specific handling of the aircraft without relying on the default FBW implementation.
- Multiple simulated FBW modes, control laws, and flight-envelope protections, evolving according to aircraft configuration, payload, and environment.
- Advanced avionics featuring seven screens and a detailed head-up display.
- Functional terrain-following system based on real topography.
- Fully working autopilot and autothrottle systems, including specific modes such as angle-of-attack hold.
- Dynamic payload integration, with weapons, tanks, pods, smoke systems, emergency jettison, and aircraft performance affected by each configuration.
- Custom AI traffic generation for interactive mission scenarios.
- Custom camera system, including in-flight payload views and mission-focused cameras.
- Interactive pre-flight walkaround, including an animated mechanic inspection.
- Immersive sound package crafted by Echo19 and based on real recordings.
A detailed feature list is available just below. ⬇️
The Rafale C for MSFS 2024 lands this summer on PC and Xbox.
A small note for PS5 users: third-party products are currently being introduced gradually on the platform, by invitation, to ensure stability. AzurPoly is already part of this process with the Jaguar and Transall, but we cannot yet confirm when the Rafale will become available on PS5.
We are now in the final polishing phase: fixing the last remaining issues, refining the overall experience, and preparing documentation worthy of such a complex aircraft.
Official Licensed Product – DASSAULT Aviation.
Developed by AZURPOLY in cooperation with JFEXP.
