One week after the release of our Rafale for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, we would first like to thank all of you for your incredible support!
The response to the aircraft has been extremely positive, and we have received a huge number of comments, screenshots and videos from the community over the past few days. Seeing so many of you enjoying the Rafale after nearly two years of development is incredibly rewarding for the whole team. 🎁
We are also very pleased with the overall stability of the aircraft since release. We have not encountered any major issues, which is particularly satisfying considering the complexity of the aircraft and the number of custom systems running behind the scenes.
At the same time, we are aware of the performance issues reported by some console users, with the Rafale proving particularly demanding in terms of performance in certain situations. These issues did not show up during our internal console testing, but the reports received since release have helped us identify this as one of our main areas of focus. We are already working on additional performance optimizations for the next updates.
This is also a good opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to the project. The Rafale has truly been a team effort, and we would especially like to thank JFEXP, Fly and Fight, the pilots who shared their experience and expertise with us, as well as all of our beta testers who spent countless hours testing the aircraft and providing invaluable feedback throughout development. We would also like to thank DASSAULT Aviation for making this officially licensed project possible.
And the story is far from over.
We have always considered this initial release as the foundation on which we can continue building. We have many ideas and exciting new features planned or already in development for the Rafale, and we look forward to gradually expanding the aircraft over the coming months.
For now, this first update focuses primarily on the most noticeable smaller issues identified since release, with many of the fixes and adjustments directly based on feedback received from the community.
We are already working on further fixes and improvements for the next updates, alongside the performance optimizations mentioned above.
